The Organizing Committee gave awards to the projects that won high prizes at the contest.

Over 300 contestants with 161 projects (including 91 from high schools, 70 secondary schools) from 33 secondary and high schools and 9 Offices of Education and Training of 9 districts, towns and provincial city in the province attended the competition.

According to the evaluation of the Competition Organization Committee, the projects have had meticulous preparation. Many students took part in the fields of mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, biochemistry, software system.

The competition encouraged secondary and high school students to research science and technology, apply the knowledge of subjects to solve practical problems, contribute to the renewal of teaching organization forms, renew the forms and methods of evaluating the learning outcomes, develop the pupils' capacity and qualities, promote the self-reliant teachers to raise their professional capability and improve the quality of teaching and learning. At the same time, the contest also created opportunities for students to introduce their scientific and technical research results and increased cultural exchanges between localities and international integration.

The Organizing Committee selected 65 eligible projects which were recognized as provincial awards. There were six first prizes, 10 second prizes and 13 third prizes for high school students and two first prizes, three second prizes and eight third prizes for secondary school students.
